ThoughtStream is a space for genuine sharing and meaningful conversations. Please
help us keep it that way.
Prohibited Content
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Content that sexualizes minors in any way
- Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm
- Hate speech, slurs, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender,
sexual
orientation, religion, or disability
- Threats, harassment, bullying, or doxxing
- Content promoting illegal activities, drug sales, or weapons
- Impersonation of other users or public figures
Live Stream Standards
- Only stream entries that are appropriate for all audiences
- Be respectful during audio discussions — treat every caller with courtesy
- Do not use streams to promote adult content, scams, or spam
- Streamers are responsible for the content shared on their stream
- If you encounter inappropriate behavior during a call, end the call and report the user
Conversations & Messages
- Do not send unsolicited explicit messages or images
- Respect boundaries — if someone doesn't want to chat, don't pressure them
- Do not use messages for spam, advertising, or phishing
- Report any abusive messages using the report function
Content Quality
- Share genuine thoughts and experiences
- Avoid repetitive or low-effort spam posts
- Give credit when sharing others' content or ideas
- Keep titles and descriptions honest — don't use misleading clickbait
Reporting & Moderation
- Use the report button to flag content that violates these guidelines
- Reports are reviewed by our moderation team
- False or malicious reporting may result in action against your account
- Consequences for violations range from content removal to temporary or permanent bans
Your Safety Tools
- Block — Prevents a user from seeing your profile and interacting with you
- Mute — Hides a user's content from your feed without blocking them
- Report — Flags content or behavior for review by our team
- End Call — Immediately ends any live audio discussion
Account Deletion Policy
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings
- If you choose to rejoin after deleting your account, you will receive a one-time warning that your
next deletion will be permanent
- If you delete your account a second time, your email address will be permanently
banned from ThoughtStream — you will not be able to create a new account with the same
email
- This policy exists to prevent misuse of our platform and to protect our community
- Account deletion is irreversible — all your data, entries, messages, and connections will be
permanently removed
